Those Onboard fuses are going to pop once the Power reaches the Amp, which is not good, you want to Stop The power getting to the amp as soon as possible, which is why you wanna keep the fuseblock as close to the battery as possible to sum it upIf your subwoofer amp has fuses on it already, I don't see a need for a fuse in between amp and back batt, as long as it is a short run.
a Fuse at the first battery, wire running to rear bat, with fuse before the rear bat, then another fuse between the rear bat and the amp.
If you dont do it that way, and somthing happens, you can kiss your amp goodbye!
