How to wire speakers?

I am new to wiring speakers on my own. I was wondering what gauge wire i am going to need. I have 150 watt Rms speakers up front and 90 watt Rms in the back. 175 watt rms amplifier. What gauge wire do I need for this install and what brands make good wire? thanks alot for all of the help.

i always o with 12 or 10 awg... mostly because its easy to get at my locak audio shop, but moreso because you can run as much power on it as u want before you run into problems... and its sexier than sewing thread lookin wire.
