How to use the bass knob

Step 1: Take out of box

Step 2: Throw away

Step 3: Take out trash

I think using the bass boost knob boosts certain frequencies and usually makes bass sound weird, I know it does with my subs if I turn it up. Note that I said I think, I am hoping someone else chimes in.

If everything is set up properly, you won't need it.

I hooked it up with the know set at min, then set my gains... So if I really want more, I have the choise, but I probably wont use it b/c I am already pushing my amp..

I was screwing with it while setting the gains... My DMM read 5v higher when the knob was on "max"

if it controls gain - you can set your gains with the bass knob all the way up... then turn it down.. this way if you ever needed to icnrease it you wont be clipping the signal

So why does mine not fully control the gain then? It sounds lile thats what some of you are saying it does? Like it's a remote gain knob.. To me it seems more like you set your gains, and if you think you want it louder you turn up the bass knob a bit instead of going to your trunk and adjusting it in there, and screwing up your setting... This way you just turn it right back to "min" and its all good!

Maybe I will put mine up on egay... It's sitting in my trunk on the floor...
