How to tell what freq?

I am wondering if theres any programs or anything where I can just play a song in it and it will tell me what frequencies the bass is?

i actually ahve audacity...how do i use it to find what i need?

select the part of the song you want to find out the freq. go to analyze. then plot spectrum. keep all the drop down boxes the same except "512" change that to 16384. export and then it will be saved as a .txt file then open and look //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You don't have to export it; just look at the graph and use the cursor as a guide. Also, some songs will not have a clear peak (most rock songs) so you may need to analyze small sections at a time.
