Make sure that rivit metal over the hole, and dont just bondo/glass over it. Other wise a flat head screw driver will open it in about 2 seconds.

Another trick is to connect the push boton wires to 2 - insulated bolts, One positve bolt, one negitive bolt. When installed next to each other, a little jumper will activate the trunk. Like a key/coin, ect. That way there is no button to find.

I used to have a 81 caprice, so i know my way around them pretty good.

I also shaved the rear doors and window trim.
