How to secure muffler other then welding

Aside from welding a muffler on, is there any other good ways to secure a muffler on to the exhaust pipe? I am just curious because my welding skills **** and I don't want to have to pay a shop to do it. (Its on a little go-cart).

they make this putty that hardens and claims to be as strong as metal and also very high temp. resistant

get a piece of hose that will cover the whole gap and them clamp it.

go to your local pep boys. they will have clamps in the exhaust section

Go to your locla advanced or whatever and tell them you need clamps big enough ot fit the exhaust and tell them what size. if its on a go kart then radiator clamps should do it.
