How to play DivX?

Anyone know how to play a Divx file? I downloaded an old movie I havent seen in ages, and its in Divx format.

I cant play video for it.

hmmm WMP11 has divx installed. atleast mine does.

You may need the DivX codec and also may need the AC3filter.

I also have to point out that the DivX encoding is different from DIVX DVDs that were around 8 or so years ago from Circuit City, they have nothing in common besides the name.
