Alright, I took measurements today in my truck of about what size center console I want. I will go to the hardware store in a couple days and get some wood to make a rough model of the console to be certain it turns out the right size, dimensions, and to work out the details in design... But.... How do I mount the new console to the vehicle once im done? I currently have a jumpseat in my truck, mounts the same way the center console option does, metal brackets. How do most people mount their custom consoles?
More info on the console's design so far.. Its going to be housing a carputer and some gauges for the truck.
