how to measure a amps and a subs output

how can i check my amps and also my subs output ? i am going to order them and once they arrive and i get them installed, i want to measure there output before i connect them together. what all should i check for with my multimeter ? is there a certain way i should do this ?

Google how to bench test, You take a clamp meter and put it on speaker wires and read amperes. Then put a dmm on the speaker terminals on the amp and read the volts. then multiply them. Or something like that...
