How to Make an mp3 cd

I've been trying to make an mp3 cd with the software nero and it is not playing on my eclipse avn5435......I just wanna know how you guys are making your mp3 cds and with what software? Or is there a special way to play it in my unit?

Well are you creating the MP3s from a CD or WAV files or just trying to burn a disc of MP3s?

Using Nero, you can select MP3 disc or a data disc.

yes, im just trying to burn a disc of mp3s that WORKS....im selecting mp3 within the nero software and burnt a disc of mp3s but my indash(eclipse avn5435) would not even recognize the disc.....

IMHO nero sucks balls. I use RecordNow and it always works and never fails to burn a cd. Every cd i burned on nero doesnt work.

Are you using Windows XP? If you are, you can burn a data disc without using any kind of software like nero or roxio. Just insert the blank disc, wait for the pop-up to come out and select record files to this disc or something. The built-in burner for XP is slow though but it works.

yea i got windows xp but are u sure? Theres a built in recorder within windows xp?

Are you using the Nero burning rom or the express? When you select express, it will give you the option to burn a disc “that will be read by most players” or something like that. I use that with no problems, but you may want to try to burn the MP3s as a data disc.

What version of Nero do you have?

Burn at Once is also a good program

i think he is talking about windows media player, cuz that can burn things but it sucks and always freezes when i try to use it, i have nero startsmart i downloaded using bittorrent and it works great with cds, mp3 cds, dvds, etc
