How to install radio signal amplifer (radio signal booster)?

I want to install a radio signal amplifer (radio signal booster) in my 2004 Toyota Camry. I bought a radio signal amplifier from NationalAntennas.com (HD RX-8) and it says to install the red 12V wire to electric terminal controlled by ignition switch. I have no idea what this is. Can anyone help me? I do have basic electronics knowledge, but I just want to make sure I am doing things right.

red goes to a wire that has power only when the car is "on"

That is what it means.
