okay so im putting a set of comps in my 1989 gmc sierra 1500 farm truck. it doesnt have any place for 6.5 or 5.2 in the doors. but it has like in the dash places for 4x6's well i was looking at the phoenix gold 5.2 set and it comes with 5x7 plates for fords. well how would i go about making the 4x6 hole bigger in the dash to put in the 5x7 plates? if anyone has did this please tell me how u did it. also i was thinking about putting a comp set in the door but i dont want to cut a 6 inch hole in the door. thanxs alot -andy-

Yeah, I would go with a kick pannel. The dash isn't the best place and on top of it 4x6s don't sound the best, IMO. I would go with nothing less that 5.25. loko into the kick pannels, it's a good route to go, it also improves imaging.

well i checked today and my truck has the holes out behind the panel so im just going to take one of my grills and go around it with a marker and then cut out the hole and slap them cdt's i have in there and put the tweets looking at each other on the top of like panel.
