How to get that bassline on a budget

I drive a 2000 jeep cherokee and I am trying to make the best SQ system I can for the money. I just got a aura 4200 that will give me 150x2@4 ohm's. Im looking for a component system that will fill my need for basslines. I listen to a lot of reggea/dub (sublime type stuff) and punk so I'm looking to be able to feel/hear the basslines and double kick. Everyone here is saying to go with the rainbow SLC's but they cost 230 shipped to me. I can get some CDT EF-61's from djdillion for 185 shipped so I was wondering if there were any other speaker's in the $185ish area that would provide the best mid range/mid bass for the price. They will be IB in a deadened door.

I have a 15" RE MT/Eclipse hybrid made by scottie johnshon... the sub part is under control. If you have any suggestions on comps though, that would help.

ttt I know someone around here has some idea's. I would like some opinions before I just go out and drop 200 bucks on a set of speakers I have never heard before.

I love my MB Quarts but some will tell you the tweeter can be a little harsh. For $230, buy the premium online or if you can find them cheap enough, maybe the Q's...

Youd be hard pressed to find a better performer than the SLCs anywhere near theyre respected price range. Theres alot of members here that dumped their CDTs for em and never looked back.

Best option, save for a bit longer. Otherwise youll most likely end up spending the money twice.

Orion P6.2 is the best you will find at that price point (check onlinecarstereo.com)

They compare to top-of-the-line Quarts at a fraction of the price. In fact, the tweeter on that set is made in the same factory as Quart. Also, xmax is at least 4.8mm - that's more excursion than some subs.

any online stores that sell these? none on ebay or anywhere else I could find. They look impressive on arc's site but the closest dealer is 2+hours away from me:crap:
