How to get spk wires to doors

need to run speaker wire from under the dash to the front doors. Not alot of room in the factory rubber boot that the factory window wires and etc. run through. Would it be best to just drill holes through the door jam and the jam where the kick panel is? Or is there a better way? I would like to use the factory hole and boot, but it doesnt look doable unless someone knows a trick..

I could actually take both sides of the rubber boot off the body/door on my GMC truck. That way I could compress it enough to have the total distance form one end to the other small enough that I could get a wire through.

MAybe yours comes off too, I dunno... otherwise maybe a coat hanger could be pushed through, but make sure it's not sharp enough to damage something.

Anyway, it'd prolly look the best if you couldn't tell you were ever in there.

they sell little things that look like screw drivers, they ar ea hollow mettal tube and have a handle with a hole in it, you stick it into the rubber and ffed thew rie through the opening, they make them for up to 8 guage wire and really small to, i would try to fit it through that opening, it would be alot cleaner in install perspective and wether resitant. GL on the project, i expect some pics //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yea I thought abotu trying to fish the wire through, but its real tough. The factory boot goes in about in the middle of the dash, then it would have to bend quickly to come out at the bottom of the kick panel. The rubber boot will pop out on both ends, but the factory wire takes up all the room. I would like to run it through there though, just going to be tough. Ive tried to post pics of the amp install, so far no luck. For the past few days I havent been able to post even just a text messege, keeps having some error. My avatar is the amp install. Ill keep trying to post a larger pic of it..

I justed installed my buddies 6.5" speakers amd G_**** its pretty though. I taped the wire to the end of a screwdriver and jammed it up that mother... got the job done and I dont plan on doing it agian sometime soon.
