how to get louder

Duno if this helps, but when i played a 45hz note in my car (subs in trunk) it peaked at 43-44hz on the TL. Seems the trunk setup make the note peak a little lower due to the way the car's built.

To the OP, I'd try different boxes. Make another one that's smaller around 2ft3 and instead of using a slot port, use a 6" aeroport. Then the tune depends on where you want to get loud at (dash, kick, head, etc.)
