Im getting like 12-13mpg in town with a v6 6speed regular ram. Maybe 14-15 on highway, its all stock except for after market rims(20in, deep dish). I was wondering cheaper ways to get better millage besides air intake. If it boosted performance that would be great but not my main concern. Is there any chips that wouldn't void my warranty?

Yea i know but my dads hemi gets 18 in town >.> We dont really drive anything besides pickups and suv's but my brother gets like 26 out of his, diesel of course

you basically have a car engine with a heavy truck on it.. step up to a v8 drive it nice, do the typical intake, exhaust and chip it and call it a day

A "chip" is a waste of time and $$$. It will NOT help with mpg, but actually make it worse.

If you want to do anything electronically, get a good tune.

In all honesty, you would probably get better mpg with the v8. That v6 just has to work way to hard to accomplish what it dose.

But you can do the basics....

CIA kit, exhaust *may* net you a few mpg, maybe.

Keep you tires filled to the higher range that your are still comfortable with and look into getting a good induction and top cyl. cleaning preformed.
