I'm trying to buy a grille for my 10" MTX subs: Amazon.com: MTX Magnum MB210SP Dual 10" Enclosure/Amp Combo: Electronics
As you can see in the picture, the gaskets that surround the subs are raised up about 0.6", and the actual outside diameter of the gaskets is 10.2".
I was looking into those generic waffle/mesh grilles on eBay, but it didn't seem like the edges of them were raised to surround the gaskets (that's how they're supposed to be installed, right?).
Perhaps I could buy those and have the grille rest on top of the gasket, and attach a raised surrounding platform to secure the clips to?
Does anyone have experience installing grilles for subs similar to this?
