How to fix sunfaded door panels

Any tips or tricks to bring the shine back in to a set up of sunfaded dooir panels?

There are also some light scratches. Any suggestions?

what color are they? If you can find a matching vynil dye or krylon fusion you could always repaint them.

I figured what I can do is sand down with maybe 300 grit...get some SEM advesive promoter, texture paint, and the other paint and try to fix it.

I am also going to call this upholstry shop to see if they can fix them.

They are pewter.

I am not sure if that will work. It seems as if some of the texture is out as well.

I may just leave it alone....

if its scratched, then you might as well re-paint it.

sand it a lil with fine paper

spray with adhesion promoter

primer in the can

then paint in the can...then a clearcoat for shine if wanted.

It spretty simple and everything is found at autobody shops. They can match colors too.

You're on the right track, use 220-300 grit to rough up the surface, clean down with rubbing alcohol, primer, then paint.

How hard will it be to fade it into the existing color?

Fortunately, I have more than 1 set of door panel to practice
