How to fix stripped threads on amp speaker leads.

bought used amp off here. Didnt come with screws for speaker leads and they looked stripped as in no threads to screw anything into.

how am i going to get any use off this amp? do i have to solder the speaker leads to the amp or what??

So you bought the amp off here and wasn't aware of the stripped threads?

Easy solution: use next size set screw

Maybe get us a pic of what you are dealing with. When possible I use a tap and cut new threads. You can get new screws at the hardware store that are generally much stronger than the cheap ones that most amps come with. If the terminals are encapsulated in plastic you have to be careful to avoid cracking the plastic cover.
