IM A NOOB WHEN IT COMES TO ADVANCED SOUND INSTALLATION so please have patience with me. to start off this is what i own

* Pioneer-DEH-P3900MP

* 2 12inch SOUNDSTREAM rubicon subwoofers

* 2 ch. HITRONICS AMP 1400WATT FOR WOOFERS

* 2 6.5 PIONEER-TS-A1672R

* 2 6X9 PIONEER

* 2 TWEETERS DONT KNOW BRAND JUST RANDOM

there are my spec's dont know if its gonna help out with the issue im having , main issue i am having is when i turn my car on or stereo w/e my subs will go crazy and just sub to no beat they will just jump up and down and make noise to no beats so what i have done so far is bought new RCA's for the amp and connected it and still went on with the noise , also i checked my wiring for my head unit and all is fine also i connected the amp on my friends car and it worked just fine there but when i put it back into my car and hook it up it does that same noise again please help:confused:

i highly doubt its from the head unit for the reason being that i tried it on my old stereo and it did the same exact thing and well the pioneer is 3 days old and the other stereo is about 2 years old and does the same thing when i plug both headunits

do you suggest i sand some paint off in my trunk and slap a screw in it ? cus having no bass kinda sucks i hate that annoying sound so i just disconnected the amp

yeah man i have never seen this before its actually really weird i checked every cable and well i doubt its RCA's or the preouts on the HU cus i did try 2 HU's, tried 3 different RCA's 2 new 1 old same result

You should always sand down any paint and use a self tapping screw and a washer to attach the ring terminal on the end of the wire to your grounding spot. How were you doing it before?

Also, where are you running your RCAs? They might be picking up noise. Are they shielded or twisted pair? Because twisted pair is pretty much a hoax. Standard car audio does not used balanced inputs, so twisted pair RCAs with no shield will not reject noise. Shielded is the way to go.

i have no idead which type of RCA's i am using only thing i know is that they are clear blue and its the same ones i tried on another car of mine and worked just fine before and even got new RCA's to try and see if that was it and no no positive results , and well your gonna laugh at me but i got my ground from where the trunk clamps down and hooks but it worked for a while but i guess now its not enough becuase at one point my sound was working fine now it just isnt working
