How to find the ohms of a sub

it depends on the RMS Wattage, 0-500RMS = single 2 ohm, 500-1k = single 4 ohm, 1k-2k = dual 2 ohm, and 2k+ is ussually dual 4

you can either look up the model number of the subwoofer (which should be on the magnet), and that should supply enough information to gather whether it is 2 or 4 ohm. Then, look at how many terminals are on the subwoofer, 4 terminals means its a dual ohm subwoofer, 2 terminals means its a single ohm subwoofer
