how to find rca out voltage

multimeter set to AC volts

1000hz test tone on cd

Y phono cord, 2 inputs (female), 1 output (male or female)

unplug RCA's from amplifier. plug the female Y jack into your RCA's. put the meter +\- on the end of the single phono jack. the + goes on the middle male part, and the - goes on the outer 'ring' shieth.

turn volume up and measure AC voltage.
