I am gona be selling my explorer, so im swapping everything out and putting a basic system in with tidbits i have/ordered. I have an 05 model pioneer deck with i believe only one input. not exactly sure what model it is because its in our brok'd down mustang and my girlfriends house, but i believe it only has one/two inputs, and no subwoofer input.

anyways, im taking out everything except the speakers, which i will switch to run off the headunit. Im also putting some kicker subs in there, but i dont know how to wire it up to the headunit. Do i just use that input and make sure i have a high pass filter set or what?

it should have a sub output, most all do or they will have rear and sub. so just use the sub rcas, and the remote.
hmm i dont think so, but i'll check. I know from the audio settings in the deck that there is NOT a subwoofer level option, meaning that any bass is controlled mutually between the subs and speakers.
