How to determine the best size box for kicker sub

Im using 1 Kicker 07CVR104. Im planning on a sealed box. The sub specs for a sealed box are a minimum of 0.8 and maximum of 3.0 cubic feet.

Space isnt exactly an issue since it will be in the back of a suv. What will a bigger box provide? Any tips for this type of sub? I prefer sq over spl if that matters

I'd try 1.5 cubes first. Bigger boxes give you a boomier sound were smaller boxes give you tighter bass so I'd try the middle first and see if your missing lowend extension or sq. Well sq for kicker anyway. Personally I'd put that in a 1.6 cube box tuned to 36hz but you said sealed

You are lazy....too lazy to search. You could have spent 2 mins searching instead of looking for a handout. If you were not a moron, you wouldn't have bought kicker. You would have a clue. But alas, you don't. Why ask what size box to build, when you are obviously too lazy to build one. Do you need to tell a shop what size to make the box?

Looks like you are the moron.
