How to connect a Fan ?

hi guys...my RF punch amp get kidna hot...so i wanna buy a fan for it...but i am not sure exactly how to connect it...should i connect it to the remote from the amp ?...and what abour grounding ?

buy a 12v fan, and connect it to your remote wire to get the 12V, and ground it with your amp. that way, when your amp turns on, your fan turns on. i made a switch for mine, so during the day, the fan is always on, but at night when i know i'm not going anywhere, i just shut it off.

Well I don't sudgest that you connect it to your turn on and amp ground, your car should have an accersory and ignition on relays that I would sudgest you use. That way whenever you have it on, or in acc. that the fan will go on, and you won't have a buzzing sound in your subs/speakers.

I have an Alpine MRD-M300 Amp and it has a digital screen on it.. It also reads the temp my amp is running at. the highest it has reached is 43 Celsius......Good? Bad?

I am curious about how to do this too, I am in the process of building an amp rack and I am not sure how to power the two fans I will have in it.
