How do you change the impedance from 4 ohms to 2 ohms, can you do so without a dual voice coil speaker?

um, are you talking about wiring a subwoofer? if your trying to change a svc 4 ohm to a svc 2 ohm, you cant. you have to send it somewhere to get it reconed.

you could wire a 4ohm resistor in parrallel(sp?) but it would be a wast since half the power would be wasted on the resistor

Combine both positives... run to the amp. Combine both negatives... run to the amp.

Done. 2ohm load.

Just don't worry about it.

Basically, a knife is taken to your subwoofer... it is ripped apart. All the moving parts are replaced...

Most companies DO NOT do this...

can i combine both positives and split it into two new positives, and same with the negatives and then bridge four channels for the two speakers?
