how to bypass the alpine Iva 310?

I am wonderring how would yo bypass to see movies while driving. it says one wire has to be hooked up to the regular brake and the other to the emergency

one. what do I have to do im lost!!!

The wire that goes to the brake pedal switch is looking for a + signal. The wire that goes to your parking brake is looking for a - signal. Hook the wire up like normal to your brake light pedal switch and hook the other wire to a switch and ground the switch. Does that make sense to you?

or you can use two toggle switches. if i remember correctly, in order to get the video to play you have to hold down the regular brake, and then turn the e-brake on, off, then on again. so you can wire the brake pedal wire into the brake lights, or to a toggle switch with 12v, but IIRC again, you have to hold down the brake pedal to keep the video on screen, so youre better off using a toggle. then wire the e-brake wire into a toggle switch.

to bypass to watch movies while you drive, hold down the brake (or work the first toggle), then take the "e-brake" toggle switch and flip it three times (on, off, on).

double check the procedure with your owners manual, but i think that is correct.

just buy the pac tr-7 on ebay for like $25. basically just like hooking up an HU.

Yeah this is right. You might as well hook the brake wire to the brake pedal switch. That makes it easier to operate that having to work 2 toggles. Hook the Ebrake wire to a one side of a toggle switch and ground the other side. That way when the switch is on that wire will see a ground signal. Then just use the procedure hoss mentioned and your good.
