so i i have a 2 channel amp and i was told by my friend to wire the 2 subs together and then have both psitives going into one wire so i did and did the same with the negative and then he told me to stick the positive in the positive spot on the first channel and then the negative on the other channel is that right??? or is there something else to it thanks !

We need a bit more information from you to know whether or not your friend's suggestion was a sound one (though on the surface it certainly appears like an uninformed novice move)

What specific 2-channel amp are we talking about here? (brand and model #) and the same for your two subs?

Are the Punch Stage 1 10s 8 Ohm or 4 Ohm coils?

The KX150.2 isn't stable lower than a 4 Ohm load when bridged so if you do not have a pair of 8 Ohm subs then what your friend is suggesting can ultimately lead to amplifier failure. If it burns up as a result of what he is suggesting is he going to cough up the dough to replace it?

Wouldn't matter, that amp isn't powerful enough to run them

lol naaa hes poor hes got like a sony xplode 10 or something witha walmart amp and y isnt the amp powerfull enough and the subs are 4 ohm...
