How ti fix/repair stripped factory screwholes

kcdc30: they're factory screws that hold the parts in place.

can you replace the screws with 1 a bit larger? or are they molded into the panel? if you can remove them, and match a new one with a size larger tap, you can rethread slightly larger. if it's standard, you may be able to retap with metric threads and get a very slight enough thread, to not even change to actual screw noticably.

 
One of the screws happens to be a bigger one...near the corner of the ashtray and holds it and the vent frame itself. As for the other screws, I suppose I can try tapping out a lil bigger holes...I'm a machinist so I gots plenty of taps and drills on hand.
