how the **** do i fix this

Get a standard network cable and see if it fits tighter than what you have. That is pretty ghetto! Pinhead bass knob //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ahh I thought it was a bass knob when I first looked at it. Yep, if its USB about the only thing you can do is hot glue or epoxy it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

You should do that anyway, but you probably should squeeze the usb down a little bit at the center points to create a tighter grip. If you use that same cable in the back if it falls out back there, guess what? Time to take out the HU and reconnect.

Buy a USB extender and plug it into that and then electrical tape them together. That way, you can just plug your usb drives into the extender. Problem solved.

It's not that it falls out, its that the head unit flexes so badly that the cable gets knocked out... if it had a rear usb cable it wouldnt be a problem.. the faceplate jumping and the cable having to be in at a 45' is what kills it
