How small of a box is too small?

Question for you sub gurus, but here goes. I recently made boxes that fit in my truck and are .2676 cubic feet before displacement. After making them, I realized I can actually make bigger boxes to fit in the truck that would net me .37 cubic feet before displacement. The sub is a TC-1000 8". Will the subs sound vastly different in a .37 cubic foot enclosure vs .26? Space is extremely limited and as such the boxes are so small. Should I polyfill the hell out of the first box and stick with the boxes that are already made, or go ahead and make the bigger boxes? Need some advice. Thanks.

if you could build the bigger one, do it .26 is too small for that sub
