how often do you upgrade computers?

Right now im running a dell inspiron from 08, I upgraded the hard drive from 160 to 250, running 2gb ram off windows vista. It works great for what I use it for, just online browsing, downloading music, etc etc.

Just upgraded the main computer. Been around every 5 years or so. 500gb with 20gb memory, raid 1.

both my desktop and laptop are going on 4 years old.

Built the desktop, has 250gig harddrive, 2 gigs ram, duo core, pretty basic compared to gaming computers today.

laptop is a toshiba, 160gig hd, upgraded to 2gigs ram.

On another note: SSD HD is the best upgrade to come around in a long time. Insane speed increases.

That and graphics editing, stock trading, etc. Theres probably around 10 IE browser windows open at any given time also. The bad thing is it's already outdated...

I upgrade every 2 to 3 years, i dont do anything where i need the newest model so i just upgrade when its conveinent money wise.

Built my gaming computer in 07. Havnt upgraded it since.

Still holding out quite nice. I havnt bought a PC game in awhile though so I dont know how much they would tax my system. But it runs crysis quite well with high settings and destorys CoD modern warfare 1 with all maxed.
