How Much ?!?!

I have a jl 1000/1 stuck in Ohm mode. I was considering having it repaired but funds are tight now. Would u sell it or would u hold onto it for awhile(since its a fairly expensive amp). And if u were to sell it, what would be a fair price. Physically the amp isnt brand new, some fair scrathes and some cosmetic parts are damaged or missing. Everything was in working condition until it got stuck in ohm load.

Anyways, if somethings wrong with it, I'd send it it. Do you still have warranty? I wanna say JL charges like a flat rate of $150 to fix their amps, but this could be a number for something else.

yea, its stuck in ohm mode. if u look closely at this picture,

you can see the ohm light, its the one that says low and then the ohm symbol.

I was playing my subs one day and all of the sudden it made this weird screetching type sound. I thought i had blew my subs, so i bought new ones but to find out it was the amp. Put a new amp in and the subs and new amp work perfect. All the wiring was correct at a 4 ohm load.

I dont have warranty because i bought the amp from a friend for dirt cheap. I cant really fix it at this time because money is tight rite now. Im just curious if i could sell it in this state and what i could get for it or should i just hold onto it.
