How much will best buy charge to fine tune an install?

basically, i need them to drill a hole through the firewall and put the power wire through there (i have it going through the corner of the hood/door), set the gains, and mount the amp.

i didnt buy any of the stuff from them... how much would this be?

I'd try going to a local shop instead

They're going to tell you that you're an idiot for running it through the door jams, and then they're going to charge you 50-60 bucks to re-install all of your wiring. And tehre's already holes in the firewall, they'll just use them.

I meant a local Car Audio shop bro, I'm sure that there's one in your area somewhere. Go to Circuit City or best buy, they'll charge you roughly 60 dollars to do it.

we charge 90 bucks for an amp install

best buy wont touch that fire hazard you have right now buddy.

if you take everything out, and go ther and ask them to install and mount your amplifier, thats aobtu what you need.

I had my amp installed in my girlfriends car, and got to all i had to do was run the power wire into the cabin and couldn't find any hole and didn't feel up to drilling. So i went to circuit city and they chaged me for an amp installaction and told me they wouldn't do it unless they mounted the amp in the trunk which meant i had to buy longer RCA's. And then they "tuned" my amp buy turning bass boost all the way up as well as the gains. needless to say i was pissed.
