How much to repaint front end?

Wondering how much it would cost me to get this repainted at a local body shop? I know you guys can't say for sure, but a ball park figure before? I've never had to get anything repainted. It used to have a body kit on it when I got it and that's since gone, but it chipped up the paint and there's rock chips and shit too.

you will probably have to call. a lot of body shops have differnet prices. usually you get what you pay for.

Well for materials, if I was spraying, would cost roughly ~100 bucks. Probably closer to 80. But at a shop, with a labor rate of probably $100 an hour or so, with ~2 hours of work.......$300.........a lot of the cost will be in the paint they use, and their labor rate.

For a GOOD repaint you are looking at ~$400-500

Hm, not too bad I suppose. It's between repainting or getting a new alarm... they seem like they'll come out to a similar price.

Hm. I suppose I can afford both, but then I won't be able to drive until I get gas moneys. lol.

My neighbor paints high end cars (lambos, Ferrari, Porsche etc) to paint a front bumper he said they usually charge 600 bucks. He painted mine for 100.

If I walked into a shop with that and they told me $500 for spraying fresh base and clear and would say **** off. But thats because I would stop at the paint shop and spray it out in the garage.

I see prices vary drastically, so I'll call around tomorrow I guess, see what I can find. I know a guy that painted my brothers car for a pretty decent price, he doesn't speak english so that's automatically like 50% off, haha. Thankfully I know spanish. I'll call him up tomorrow and see, if not I'll just live with it.

way i see it if you can find a real quality job for less then what we do cars for in Orlando then go ahead and do it. i know that we sand, prime, base, clear, wet sand, buff we usually do a full car for ~700 depending on how bad the damage is when we get it.
