How much to refinish an amp?

There is a 2500D for sale that I'm interested in, however it's very scratched up. I was wondering where I could get it refinished and about how much it would cost, or if it was possible to do it myself. Don't really care what color it is (meanin chrome isn't necessarily what I want it refinished it to).

Powder coating would only be like $25-50 depending on who does it for u. There was a member who use to sell those 12" fisher grills that did power coating, forgot his SN tho

scuff the paint with some 400 grit and then spray a couple layers of auto primer sand that with 400.then use a good quailty auto paint and you should be good.I color matched an amp for a buddy and it turned out really nice(candy red pics in my sig).you shouldn't have any problems with heat.let me know if you need some tips.

yeah I dont see them either...clear your pms LIQUIDCLEN

also krylon fusion works well....but you have to prep the area with sanding and primier....and be sure to wipe it down with thinner to remove oils.

I'm too cheap to go out and buy real paint, so I sanded, primed and then used some BBQ paint we had laying around.

Turned out okay, and still holding up to this day.

powder coat would def. hold up the best and shouldnt cost much either. Or you could use some auto paint on it.
