How much to install this sound system?

shop time... it is what it is. i've seen people pay much much much more than $800.

Mylow I wasn't knocken you for offering to help him out I'm mean that's really cool an all

It's just a lot of this stuff is so easy to hook up that its seems a shame to not do it one's self

And the only reason it's hard is people think that it's hard and they worry and mess up

And the amp gain gets a lot of people to. I have two friends that have two pawn shops that I hang out at and I have all but given up telling people that amp gain is not a volume control. One out of three people that buy a amp an subs try to bring them back burnt up.

Dude the hardest part about hooking up a system is telling the difference between a plus sign and a negative. + an - if you can do that your off to a head start. Next read up on ohms. Read up on what wire gauge you need to run the current that your amp will pull over the length needed. Even if you put in a new radio you get a wire harness adaptor thats color coded to the wires on the deck.

Run a fuse 12 inches from battery on amp wire. Find a good ground. Not really that much to it

The hardest part of installing a system is taking the car apart and running the wires. Putting a system in a newer car is going to be harder than putting one in an older car, and also if you're not careful you can easily break your plastic panels.

While installing a system is basically connecting a bunch of wires, how and where you run those wires will vary from car to car, and some can be a complete PITA to take apart.

thats the diff between having overhead of a shop and not. Hell around here youll be paying 150 for amp install/150 xover/LC6i/ 75+per door then boxes i think are on the stock market bc I stay close to some pricelist base on net vol and then its add a featuire. to some shops its 250 for sealed then go up
