how much should i pay for infinity subs

Subs do not "put out" any amount of wattage.

They are fed a certain amount of wattage by the amplifier(s) driving them and that wattage amount will depend on the amplifie(s) in question and the manner in which the sub(s) have been wired to said amplifier(s)

If the Infinity subs you are talking about are the Reference-series subs then I wouldn't pay more than about $50-$60/shipped per sub personally.

That 1200w is the peak, sounds like Kappa Perfects to me, I'm pretty sure that's what the ones I had said for peak. Their actual RMS was 350 IIRC.

I bought the pair for $180 shipped on Crutchfield, but that was buy one get one free and they don't even sell them anymore (if it is indeed the Kappa Perfect 12.1s). I think they normally go around $130-$150 a piece on other online stores (but most people aren't selling them anymore, don't know why).

I agree

I'm running 1 12" Refrence, SVC in ~2^ft @ 30Hz, 380watts RMS, sounds alright, money is tight so it will work for now.

i know some one selling 2 12in infinity subs their puting out 1200watts what is the most i should pay for them
if kappa perfect..

i would pay no more than 250 if they are used.

btw they can take 400rms each

anything less than kappa perfect.. I wouldnt bother getting it.
