custom for sure, many people can design and or build you a box on this site. or you can get it done locally, i recommend visiting a reputable shop if you do so.

depend s on how you get it built localy @ shop will prob run $250 plus if you can find a guy on here that is close prob $100-$150 if you have it built and shipped to you $140-$250 also depends on how tricky box design is

If you have the tools available, not really. I've never bought a pre-made box and I've helped in the construction of a half dozen (a few of which I designed). In box building, to be honest, there are only three difficulties:

1) Making sure the cuts are straight.

2) Being able to cut a circle hole.

3) Not screwing up the dimensions of the boards so they fit together right.

Once you have all the pieces ready, building a box isn't any harder than putting together a bookshelf from Wal-Mart.

I've built my own, and paid people to...i cant make strait cuts, Im actually pretty good at circles, but buying was much easier
