how much should I charge?

My friend wants me to install speakers that he is buying soon.

He has a 2001 passat and is getting i think either JL or eclipse.

I'm not sure how much a shop charges but how much do you think I should charge.

friend, or aquaintance? if i asked a friend to help me with something like that and he charged me, i would probably look at him like he was an idiot prior to me punching him.

and i would expect him to do the same if he was in the situation...

he is extremely wealthy and money really isn't an object to him.

probably because his parents gave it to him and throws around his folks money cuz he doesnt have to earn it. i would charge no less than $75 for a VW more if they are comps

yeah, his dad bought it for him.

he has money from his parents, but also alot of money he earns himself. i think he has somewhere around 6g that hes earned since like the winter. so he wants something cheaper than the shop b/c they rob, but he said if i can't do it he'll go there.

Well, if he is ur friend, be a pal like stated in the above posts. But other wise....charge him 15 per hour. Thats how I charge.

dont chargem too much hes a friend so i say like $30 for the front and if installing rear speakers as well then $40 for the rears.
