how much should a used pioneer 900 BT headunit cost me?

Just wanted to make sure if I am getting a nice deal since I have been out of CA so I m not sure how much does this HU costs used

Are you sure you're talking about the 900 or did you mean to type 980BT ??? I don't think there is a such thing as the 900BT.

If it's the 980 BT I have one. Retails for 550 or so. As they say with anything that can be haggled for or bought used, it's pretty much worth what you're willing to pay for it but Id be happy with 250 or so.

Great head unit by the way, just about everything I could reasonably expect. Bluetooth and IPOD work very well and just the factory time alignment and EQ settings have made a big difference in sound quality without me trying the custom or auto settings.

I believe retail is over a grand but I found this. Not sure how reputable the site is or who else has them for a similar price. It's brand new, in a box. I would shop around to get prices then shoot for about 500 bucks on this deal.

I am seeing these units on eBay and different online retailers for as low as $400 brand new, not refurbished. I would say $615 for a used unit is ridiculous.
