for both doors, doing 2 layers on the inner and outer skin, I'd get 40ft^2, maybe 60 just to be safe.

CHeap is Not better... you will regret it... and you arent spending THAT much more for something that will outlast the cheap crap by YEARS!.

3 layers of the cheap mat will still NOT compare to one layer of dynamat or similiar prooduct.

Does it make a difference? Yes! Substantially....
