what's the most power the i can probably get out of my hifonics bxi2000???...with minimal clipping..., wired at 1ohm, with 1/0 wire to a HDC318....there's also a (don't laugh) dump truck battery (with about 900cca), in the rear along with an interstate battery up front, with big 3...(will be upgrading rear battery in the future)...the reason i ask is because if you all say that the amp is capable of putting out about 1700 watts, i'll know what to be looking for when setting my amp with my dmm....(41.2 ac volts)

At one ohm, you should get anywhere between 75% and 85% of the rated power OR 1,500 to 1,700 watts RMS depending on your amp, impedance rise, electrical system, yadda, yadda, yadda!

Besides setting your output with a DMM, I highly recommend that you LISTEN to your setup too! If you hear distortion, back off the gain until you don't hear it any more.

ok...i have it running at around 1000wrms, from the first time a set it with the dmm, and right now i cant hear any distortion....but once the sub breaks in i'll turn it up to about 1700wrms, and if i can hear distortion once i connect the speaker, then i'll just back the gain down just a tad
