How Much Power Will This Put Out???

Hey so my buddy has this amp and he is wondering how much this thing is puttin out!

The reason i dont think it puts out what the ratings say is because it has a 8 gauge power terminals and 2 30 amp fuses.

So he has a re se 15 d4 and he is wondering how to run it?????

Hey now...My Mcintosh MC404 only puts out 200 watts(4ohm) and 400watts (2ohm) and the Crunch is puttin out 12oo....maybe I should switch....hmmmmm

it will put out at least 500 at 14 volts @ 1ohm just fine. we have used them many times to power many subs just fine. they are a decent amp and a great amp for the money.

they are rated at dynamic which is 14.4 volts and maxx power rms is 1/2 of what that site lists it at they are listing it incorrectly. 1100 is its peak @ 1ohm and 550 is its rms. in a typical car electrical system they will do about 450-525 depending on voltage drop.

those amps arent that bad.

I wouldnt expect rated power out of one, but i wouldnt expect it to be horrible. I've ran some cheapo crunch's before in friends budget setups, and they get the job done.
