How much power will my subs really get???

So judging from this diagram, if my subwoofer is a 2 ohm rated 500w rms and my amp gives off 500w rms at 4 ohm and 800w rms at 2 ohm how much power will it get? Will it get the 500w or 800w since it is a 2 ohm speaker??

your sub will get the 500 rms. if that. depends on the amp. some amp give rated other dont.

If it's a d2 sub wired in series, you'll get the 500rms. If you get a d4, then you will get the 800 if you wired the sub parallel.

Thank you that cleared it up for me. That explains why a lot of the d4's are sold out a lot more often
