How much power will i get to these subs?

I've got two 4 ohm subs I'm hooking up parallel to a JL 500/1 amp. Will the amp put 500 watts to each sub or will they be sharing the 500 watts? My subs are 300 watts rms.

Sharing 500W, 250W to each sub assuming that amp puts out 500W@2ohms.

that amp is underated

and i think 2 ohm-500 rms

it will most likly put out around 600 rms

^^^ I have a 500/1 which it has four outputs 2+ 2-,

so you wont need to parallel your subs, just hook them up on there own channel.

yes 250 per channel will be fine.

you'll love the EQ adjustments on that amp

I have two JL 10w3's. I found a shop that went out of business and got both subs for $250 and the JL 500/1 amp for $330.
