how much power to type r's ?

i know this has been brought up alot and i know they are underrated but i have 2 12's and right now a 2.00 cuft sealed box but it will soon be a ported box . I need a new amp and i was thinking about a diamond d6 1500.1 , you think this would be too much for them or about right ?

Anywhere from 600~1000rms a piece and depending on enclosure. Definately go ported and that amp would work great for them, although they can handle more.
