HOW much power to get this cdt set shining

i jus got a kicker zx650.4 planning on bridge it so i can get the 325 x2 @ 4 ohms... the rms on the set is 180 RMS. (CDT HD -62).. but ive hear a couple ppl say tht this set blows with too much power like a couple months into it. Like 150 to each would be too much for it but if thats the case why would they make it 180 RMS...

I know people who have put almost 300 watts per side on them and they survived. Just be smart with the power.

Just use your amp and exercise caution. Headroom is a good thing.

If you blow them on 150w RMS, you don't have a clue what you're doing.

Just be sure you move that HPF up as you add more power. I could see 150W blowing them with a low or no HPF.

the HPF is a high pass filter. It will only play frequencies higher than what the filter is set at. (that isnt entirely accurate, look up slope to get a better understanding).
