how much power to germs biamping with jbl px 300/4?

buy a better amp for those speakers dude, come on! dont be el cheapo when you have rainbows mang
im pretty sure my amp is more than capable for the germs 123.5x4 made by crown and for only 200 shipped i dont think anything could compare with it. sure i could have spent 400 for an arc4500 or dls but....

you want to bi-amp? it'll work with the hu you have. if you bi-amp, each speaker will get 123.5 watts.

i think your trying to say i can go active with my headunit yes i know that but i want to use the germs passive xover with built in bi amping ports along with 4 different tweeter announcations(sp/word?)

no not saying that at all. just saying you can bi-amp them and you'll be able to individually control each speaker through your hu as well.

so i can put my deck in netwok mode and be able to have fulll tuning access

sorry im a little confused.

thats 2 channel trhough what about tweets and mids sepreratly
2x200w rms through a passive xovers non biamped = 200wrms to the mids, 200w rms to the tweets.

Same as 4x200w rms through the passive xovers biamped.

When biamping, just adjust the power incrementally on the mids and tweets separately to see what blends best with your specific application and subjective preference.

but wouldnt the 200x2=100 to the tweets and 100 to the mids

if it waws 200 to both wouldnt that be 400x2

Nope. An amplifier supplies rms power to a specific frequency or range thereof simultaneously.

Through a passive crossover, it might be similar to this: Mid = 80-2500Hz getting 200w rms, High = 2500+ Hz getting 200w rms from the same amp channel.

Start off by bi-amping them. If the tweeters are in closer proximity or directly on axis to listening level then you can attenuate them (say -3db to give them half power) to match the mids.
