Just ordered a pair of pioneer 6.5" Revs new for $150 shipped, went with these after the RSDs I had were either defective or I blew them.. How much power should I send them.. says 60w nominal 250w max music power? **Didn't really say before, these are the component speakers

The ratings on those are normally full range.

60 watts RMS full range.

With a crossover at 80hz or higher, I would not be afraid to go as high as 120 watts RMS.

With a lower crossover, you might be able to go somewhere in between... at 60hz, maybe 90 watts RMS.

You just have to be smart about it... if you hear distress, turn it down, lower the power and/or raise the crossover point.

Not to thread jack, but would they be ok with 100w off a Orion 4002 crossed over at 100 to 120hz?
